LifeCare Residences villages offer independent living, with access to nursing care and domiciliary assistance as and when required. Dedicated nursing homes are available at some of our villages and are available to residents and non-residents alike. 

Care services available at our villages:

Battersea Place, once completed, will offer a full range of care and support services, which can be delivered into residents’ apartments, as well as a dedicated nursing home wing.

Grove Place offers a range of care and support services delivered into residents’ homes.

Somerleigh Court offers a full range of care and support services delivered into residents’ apartments and a nursing home with dementia care also available.

Our approach

The needs of potential residents are thoroughly assessed by a trained nurse before admission to our nursing home, to provide each person and relative, friend or other representative, with the best possible information on which to make an informed choice about their future. Ongoing links with family and friends are actively encouraged and supported.  

We assist residents to enjoy the best quality of life that their individual circumstances allow and our whole approach is focused on fulfilling these aspirations.

We recognise that each resident is an individual with a distinctive personality and character. A sense of independence is recognised and cultivated, and the pursuit of suitable hobbies and interests is encouraged, as they can be therapeutic.  We support residents’ desires to participate in appropriate group activities, but also always respect a desire for privacy. Residents are treated with dignity at all times. 

Considerable attention has been paid to the interior design and finishes of our nursing homes in order to create the sense of home for our residents.
